BUSY BOARDS

What is the lead time for your busy boards? The exact lead time is displayed on the banner at the top of the home page. It is updated regularly and maybe extended during busier times, i.e. Christmas.

Who are your busy boards for? We have made busy boards for all ages and abilities, including children experiencing Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). We have also made busy boards for nurseries and care homes. Our busy boards can support physical and emotional wellbeing for all- check out Our Busy Boards page for an insight to an array of benefits!

How safe are your busy boards? Every busy board is thoroughly tested and checked in house before leaving us. Before we even start making your busy board, every element is checked before we attach them. We do have an in-depth Safety section that must be read before making a purchase.

Can I change items that go on the busy board? Yes, of course! You can design your bespoke busy board, change colours and/or change elements to suit needs and interests. You can email, fill out the contact form or write in the box at the checkout what you require.

Do you provide wall fixings? No, unfortunately we don’t provide wall fixings due to different types of walls and the appropriate fixtures that would be needed. However, we can drill holes in the corners should you wish to attach your busy board to the wall, at no extra charge.

Do I have to have a personalised busy board? No, we have made busy boards for siblings and their names would have taken up too much space. If you don’t require a name, you can choose an extra element instead. On the other hand, if you wish to have more than one name on, the names will be smaller to accommodate everything fitting on the board.

What size are your busy boards?

  • Large boards are 80cm x 40cm x 1.2cm
  • Medium boards are 40cm x 40cm x 1.2cm
  • Mini boards are approximately 28cm x 20cm x 1.8cm.

What materials do you use? We use MDF for our boards, elements and names. All paints we use for the background and elements are water based. Extra strong glue is used to fix the elements to the board. The glitter is ultra fine mixed with PVA glue prior to application for a smooth finish. 

How do I order?

  • For each listing, you will see a colour guide provided in the listing pics. Please choose the colour you require for the background, and at least 3 colours for the elements. If the colours you require aren’t on the colour guide, let us know! We can also colour match to your décor.
  • Elements included are as shown, but if you wish to change or swap elements, just pop a message in the box provided at checkout.
  • Pop the name you require in the personalisation box and that's it!
  • Once we have created your busy board, we will send you a picture to make sure everything is correct and you’re happy with it!

 

PRINTED JOURNALS & BOOKLETS

Who are your journals for? Our journals and guides are for children and young people who wish to manage anxiety and self-esteem through mindfulness activities, goal-setting tools, confidence boosting resources, and gratitude exercises.

What age range are they suitable for? We have created numerous journals/guides for different age ranges. For instance-

  • Monsters, Moods, and Mindfulness: 3-8 years
  • Cosmic Confidence Quest: 7-11 years
  • Doodle Diaries: 7-13 years
  • Journey Journal: 10-16 years

Why are some items pre-order? Our journals are printed professionally and to minimise having excess stock, we ask for our customers to pre-order some of our items. You will receive your order within 3-4 weeks of ordering, guaranteed!

What thickness of paper do you use? 

Doodle Diaries- pages are uncoated 140gsm and front/back covers silk 350 gsm.

Journey Journal- pages are silk 150gsm and front/back covers 380gsm silk.

For items that are laminated- we use 150 microns lamination sheets to ensure durability.

 

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

How do I receive my digital download? After purchase, you will receive an email with a download link. Alternatively, you can access your order through your customer account.

How quickly do I receive my digital files? Digital downloads are available instantly. Made To Order (personalised) digital downloads will be sent within 24 hours or less.

Are the digital products compatible with various devices? Yes, our digital products are compatible with a wide range of devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones. If you need more help, please message me and I will get back to you ASAP.

 

PAYMENT

What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major cards- Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. You can also pay through Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

Do you offer pay monthly options? We do accept Klarna and you can Pay in 3 with PayPal. T&Cs apply on Klarna and PayPal websites.

Do you offer gift cards? Yes! You can buy gift cards for different amounts. A great gift idea so they can choose their own gift or put towards a busy board!

 

SHIPPING

Where do you ship? Currently, we only ship to Mainland UK only (England, Scotland, and Wales).

How long does it take to ship my order? The lead time for busy boards is regularly updated on the announcement banner. For printed journals & booklets-individual listings will have an approximate date for dispatch. Once your order is ready for dispatch, you will receive a tracking number.

How can I track my package? Once, your order is ready to be dispatched, you will be sent a tracking number via email. Medium and large parcels will be sent via UPS or DPD. Small parcels and envelopes will be sent via Royal Mail.

How long will it take to receive my order? For UPS and DPD, we use next day delivery and Royal Mail first class. This means once your order is with the courier, it will take 1-2 working days. 

What if I'm not home? If you’re not home when delivery is attempted and cannot be delivered through your letter box, your parcel will either be taken to your local sorting office or delivery can be tried again the next working day. Please ensure correct details are given so you can be updated via email on your delivery status.

What do I do if my order hasn’t arrived? Don’t panic! In the very unlikely event that you haven’t received your order, please check your tracking information. This can be found on your dispatch email. If it has taken longer that the stated delivery time, please contact us asap via the form or email- hello@teamfamily.co.uk with your order number and we will be happy to investigate this further for you and get back to you.

 

RETURNS

Do you accept returns? We are confident you will be happy with your order and it will arrive in perfect condition. It is crucial for you to check your items within 48 hours of receipt to be considered for a return and refund. Personalised items are not eligible for a refund. For further information, please read our refund policy. We know mistakes can happen and we will strive to sort any issue as quickly as possible.

What do I do if I received a damaged order? Even though every order is checked and wrapped up very securely, we understand how frustrating it is if you receive a damaged parcel. If this happens, please get in touch with your order number and pictures via the chat or email hello@teamfamily.co.uk and we will sort this out for you. 

How long does it take to process a return? If eligible for a refund, we will deal very quickly with it. You will need to return your item to us, once we have received your item we will sort this the same day and will personally email you once we have sorted it. 

 

CHANGES TO ORDERS

Can I cancel my order? If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know within 24 hours. After this time, we most likely will have started/completed your order and cancellation isn’t possible.

Can I change my order? If you need to edit your order, please contact us asap with your order number. Please note, if we have already made a start on your order, it may not be possible to be changed, as it might be already on its way.

Can I change my shipping address? You can message us at any time to check the address and see what the status of your order is. If your order hasn’t been dispatched, we can change the shipping address no problem!
